I am a married father of two, Josh (8) and Aidan (5). A very pressing concern for their future is my main motivation for running.

Past Experience:

I am the former Lynchburg Area Community Coordinator for Americans For Fair Taxation, who are trying to implement the FairTax (H.R.25 in the House). I held that position for almost 4 years, informing thousands of Central Virginia residents of the FairTax and details of the bill. Visit the FairTax.org for more info.

I left that post in April of 2008 to become the Founder and Project Manager of Operation:Bullhorn, a campaign to write in “FairTax” in the 6th District of Virginia to show the candidates how much support for the FairTax there truly is in the area. The project is ongoing.

I am a factory worker. I’ve worked in the manufacturing sector for the majority of my adult life. I know the value of hard work, and the sense of accomplishment and pride that comes from putting in 10-12 hour days 6 times a week and coming home bone-tired. I also have seen, first-hand, the struggles of American corporations trying to stay competitive in our global economy, while being held back by mountains of Federal regulations, counterproductive tax laws, and lopsided import/export rules.

Does Brad have a shot at winning?

That depends on you. If you’re willing to stand for the status-quo and send another lawyer to D.C. who will try to convince you to vote against your own interests (like Perriello with the FairTax), then the answer is no. If you are tired of the same old crowd representing themselves in Washington, or the party establishment hand-picking candidates in smoky back rooms, and would rather cast a vote for someone like you, who will fight for you, then the answer is yes.
